Tax Credit Compliance relates to any multi-family properties that were developed using Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) allocations.
Tax Credit Compliance applies to properties developed through TCAP, 1602, and Tax-Free Bond funding and can also apply to properties developed through any combination, or layering,
of the previous funding sources, as well as HOME gap-funding.
LIHTC, TCAP, 1602 and BOND properties all operate under the same I.R.S. compliance rules and regulations, and use the same forms. If a property has any additional HOME funding, there are extra, and/or different forms that must also be used. Those forms are listed on our HOME Program Compliance page.
