COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – More than 269 Coeur d’Alene area families became homeowners last year with assistance from 26 local housing professionals who will be honored at today’s STAR Awards luncheon. Idaho Housing and Finance Association will present STAR awards to 13 lenders and 13 REALTORS® for connecting these homebuyers to Idaho Housing’s affordable home loans.

“The great service these partners provided to area families last year represents a $48 million investment in the North Idaho community,” said Gerald M. Hunter, president and executive director of Idaho Housing. “We are proud to have worked with housing partners such as these for more than 40 years, helping more than 14,000 north Idahoans find and purchase homes while adding more than $1.3 billion to the local economy.”

The June 7, 2017 STAR Awards Appreciation Luncheon will be held from 12 noon to 1:15 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Resort at 115 South Second Street. The following local lenders will receive STAR Awards for helping North Idaho homebuyers to obtain Idaho Housing home loans:

These 13 REALTORS will receive STAR Awards for guiding Coeur d’Alene homebuyers to their dream homes and to Idaho Housing mortgages last year.
