IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – Ten REALTORS® and lenders in the Idaho Falls area are being recognized for their work connecting homebuyers with the affordable home loan programs offered through Idaho Housing and Finance Association. In the past year, REALTORS® and lenders in the area have teamed up with Idaho Housing to help nearly 1,100 homebuyers purchase their first homes, representing a $119 million investment in the community.

“Our home loan programs reduce borrowing costs by offering competitive rates and down payment and closing cost assistance,” said Gerald M. Hunter, president of Idaho Housing. “Idaho Housing has helped over 12,000 families in the Idaho Falls area achieve homeownership in the past 40 years, totaling an investment of over $1 billion.”

Ryan Hansen (Gold Award), Jason Grider (Silver Award) and Martha Martin-Bermudez (Bronze Award) all of Keller Williams East Idaho are being recognized for representing the most Idaho Falls-area buyers who purchased homes using Idaho Housing’s Home Loan program. Honorable mentions were Janet Mowers and Sheri Peery both of Keller Williams East Idaho.

Joni Fleenor (Gold Award) of InterWest Mortgage, Stephanie Hay (Silver Award) and Trina Batte (Bronze Award) both of Idaho Central Credit Union, are the lenders being recognized for representing the most Idaho Housing borrowers. Honorable mentions were Collin Hunter of Idaho Central Credit Union and John Maus of Guild Mortgage Company.
