Gemeinnützige Organisationen in Idaho erhielten in dieser Weihnachtszeit dank der 10. jährlichen Avenues for Hope Housing Challenge einen großen Schub. Die Kampagne 2020 brachte innerhalb von 21 Tagen die Rekordsumme von 142,6 Millionen TP4 Billionen ein und kam 78 gemeinnützigen Organisationen in Idaho zugute. Das Geld wird diesen Organisationen helfen, bedürftigen Einwohnern Idahos wichtigen Wohnraum und unterstützende Dienstleistungen bereitzustellen.
Die von der Home Partnership Foundation und der Idaho Housing and Finance Association organisierte Kampagne hat seit ihrem Beginn im Jahr 2011 fast 14 Billionen Pfund eingebracht.

„Wir möchten uns bei allen 5.100 großzügigen Spendern und 45 Sponsoren für ihre Hilfe bedanken, mit der wir unser Ziel für die diesjährige Avenues for Hope Housing Challenge übertroffen haben“, sagte Gerald M. Hunter, Präsident der Idaho Housing and Finance Association. „Diese Spenden werden Tausenden von Einwohnern Idahos helfen, die während der COVID-19-Pandemie Schwierigkeiten haben, eine sichere, stabile und bezahlbare Unterkunft zu finden oder zu behalten.“
