Idaho nonprofits got a big boost this holiday season thanks to the 10th annual Avenues for Hope Housing Challenge. The 2020 campaign raised a record $2.6 million over 21 days, benefiting 78 Idaho nonprofits. The money will help these organizations provide critical housing and supportive services to Idahoans in need.
The campaign, organized by the Home Partnership Foundation and Idaho Housing and Finance Association, has raised nearly $7 million since its inception in 2011.
“We would like to thank all of our 5,100 generous donors and 45 sponsors for their help in surpassing our goal for this year’s Avenues for Hope Housing Challenge,” said Gerald M. Hunter, president of Idaho Housing and Finance Association. “These donations will help thousands of Idahoans who are struggling to find or keep safe, stable and affordable housing during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Though the 2020 campaign is over, donations can still be made to support housing needs by visiting the Home Partnership Foundation’s website.
