Idaho received a total allocation of $19.46 million dollars under the 2021 American Rescue Plan (ARP). Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) is the designated administrator of the HOME- ARP program allocated through the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME).
HOME – ARP assists individuals or households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations. The goal of HOME – ARP is reducing homelessness and increase housing stability across Idaho. This will be achieved by providing housing and supportive services.
All HOME– ARP assisted housing has a minimum 15-year Period of Affordability
HOME-ARP funds in Idaho will be used for two eligible activities:
- Production or Preservation of Affordable Housing
- Supportive Services, Homeless Prevention Services, and Housing Counseling
