IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) will hold a free workshop for landlords at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, at the IHFA branch office, 506 S. Woodruff Ave., Idaho Falls.

Bedbugs have become more prevalent in recent years, but some landlords are not taking the necessary steps to slow the spread of the parasites. Gene Hansen of Pest Control Services will talk about how to identify, eradicate and prevent infestations of the pests. Joe Earnest of Idaho Legal Aid Services will discuss landlords’ responsibilities to address infestations as well as Fair Housing requirements.
