Magic Valley REALTORS® and lenders recognized for helping homeowners
TWIN FALLS, Idaho – Twenty REALTORS® and lenders in southern Idaho are being recognized for their work connecting homebuyers with the affordable home loan programs offered through Idaho Housing and Finance Association. In the past year, REALTORS® and lenders in the area have teamed up with Idaho Housing to help 1,159 homebuyers purchase their first homes, representing a $113 million investment in the community.

“Our home loan programs reduce borrowing costs by offering competitive rates and down payment and closing cost assistance,” said Gerald M. Hunter, president of Idaho Housing. “Idaho Housing has helped close to 9,000 families in the Twin Falls area achieve homeownership in the past 40 years, totaling an investment of nearly $700 million.”

Sid Lezamiz (Gold Award) of Lezamiz Real Estate Co., Gary Shook (Silver Award) of Canyonside Irwin Realty and Joe Farfan (Bronze Award) of Century 21 Riverside Realty are being recognized for representing the most Twin Falls-area buyers who purchased homes using Idaho Housing’s Home Loan program. Honorable mentions were: Cesar Duran, Keller Williams Realty; Faye Emerson, Magic Valley Realty; John Kullhem, Gem State Realty; Jeremy Orton, Gateway Real Estate; Willis Stone, Canyonside Irwin; Stan Tobiason, Gem State Real Estate; and Nicole Veenendaal, Keller Williams Sun Valley Southern Idaho.

Debbie Owen (Gold Award) of Guild Mortgage Company, Lety Chairez (Silver Award) and Pam Canoy (Bronze Award), both of Idaho Central Credit Union, are the lenders being recognized for representing the most Idaho Housing borrowers. Honorable mentions were: Teri Adams, Guild Mortgage Company; Derrick Brinkman, Guild Mortgage Company; Eddee Gallegos, Axia Financial; Jake Gibson, Idaho Central Credit Union; Cindy Morgado, First Federal Savings Bank; Lisa Reeder, Axia Financial; and Tiffany Taylor, Guild Mortage Company.
