Eastern Idaho REALTORS® and lenders recognized for helping homeowners
POCATELLO, Idaho – Ten REALTORS® and lenders in the Pocatello area are being recognized for their work connecting homebuyers with the affordable home loan programs offered through Idaho Housing and Finance Association. In the past year, REALTORS® and lenders in the area have teamed up with Idaho Housing to help 825 homebuyers purchase their first homes, representing an $81 million investment in the community.

“Our home loan programs reduce borrowing costs by offering competitive rates and down payment and closing cost assistance,” said Gerald M. Hunter, president of Idaho Housing. “Idaho Housing has helped 11,912 families in the Pocatello area achieve homeownership in the past 40 years, totaling an investment of $835 million.”

Helen Misner (Gold Award) of Re/Max Country Real Estate, Kim Jorgensen (Silver Award) of Keller Williams East Idaho and Rikki Wood (Bronze Award) of Gate City Real Estate are being recognized for representing the most Pocatello-area buyers who purchased homes using Idaho Housing’s Home Loan program. Honorable mentions were Gina Lee of Gate City Real Estate and Omar Perez of ERA The Brokerage.

David Christensen (Gold Award) of Citizens Community Bank, Shelli Jones (Silver Award) of Idaho Central Credit Union and Debbie Brown (Bronze Award), of Guild Mortgage Company, are the lenders being recognized for representing the most Idaho Housing borrowers. Honorable mentions were Tanessa Permann of Idaho Central Credit Union and Tyler Smith of Guild Mortgage Company.
