Developers

Through multifamily financing and administering federally funded grant programs, Idaho Housing and Finance Association partners with developers to increase affordable housing supply and stability across our state.

Idaho Housing’s multifamily finance department offers developers a variety of financing options to create affordable housing throughout Idaho.

Idaho Housing administers several federally funded programs with the goal of increasing housing opportunities and financial self-sufficiency for Idahoans.

  • The HOME-ARP program aims to reduce homelessness and increase housing stability across Idaho
  • The HUD Section 3 program promotes economic development, neighborhood improvement, and financial self-sufficiency through employment opportunities and job training
  • Idaho Housing awards Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds to partners who acquire, rehabilitate, and sell foreclosed or abandoned properties in targeted areas throughout Idaho
  • The Federal Housing Trust Fund administered by Idaho Housing supports the development and operations of rental housing for households earning 0-30% of Area Median Income
  • The HOME Program federal block grant is designed to create and sustain safe, decent, and affordable housing for low-income households
