HOME – ARP Program
Idaho received a total allocation of $19.46 million dollars under the 2021 American Rescue Plan (ARP). Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) is the designated administrator of the HOME-ARP program allocated through the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME).
HOME–ARP assists individuals or households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations. The goal of HOME–ARP is reducing homelessness and increasing housing stability across Idaho. This will be achieved by providing housing and supportive services. All HOME–ARP assisted housing has a minimum 15-year Period of Affordability.
HOME-ARP funds in Idaho will be used for two eligible activities:
- Production or Preservation of Affordable Housing
- Supportive Services, Homeless Prevention Services, and Housing Counseling
