Idaho received a total allocation of $21.6 million dollars under the 2008 Housing & Economic Recovery Act. Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) is the designated administrator of the NSP program.

IHFA awards Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds to program partners who acquire, rehabilitate, and then sell foreclosed or abandoned properties in targeted areas throughout Idaho. The households must be income qualified. Participating partners are Idaho nonprofit developers and municipalities who have been selected through an application process. NSP Homeownership Assistance is based on the buyer’s documented need, income, and other qualifying criteria as determined by IHFA.

Note: Each borrower must take the a minimum of eight (8) full hours of the classroom education for the Finally Home!® Homebuyer Education Class. The online class course does not satisfy the Neighborhood Stabilization Program requirements. Click here for Finally Home!® class schedules statewide.
