Since 2003, the Idaho Fair Housing Forum has been cooperating and collaborating to provide education and outreach opportunities throughout Idaho. These include statewide initiatives and activities to increase awareness of fair housing law, conferences, and Fair Housing Month events. Our website serves as a clearinghouse for fair housing and related information of interest to all fair housing stakeholders, whether to learn about current case law, training opportunities, or how to file a complaint. History and evolution of segregation and the passage of the Fair Housing Act

• Segregated by Design. “How federal, state and local governments unconstitutionally segregated every major metropolitan area in America through law and policy.”
• Seven Days. This short film documents “the seven days between the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the passage of the Fair Housing Act.”

Evaluating the Impacts of the Fair Housing Act

• The Unfulfilled Promise of the Fair Housing Act. On the 50^th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, this article explores whether we have achieved the two goals of the Act: “outlaw individual acts of housing discrimination and foster integration.”
