Avenues for Hope celebra un año récord

Nonprofits from around Idaho gathered in downtown Boise to celebrate a record year for the Avenidas para la esperanza housing challenge.

Many of the participating organizations were there to receive recognition for their fundraising efforts during the 2022 campaign, which ended Dec. 31.

This year, Jesse Tree topped the list of most money raised. They brought in more than $484,000, a record amount for the annual challenge. Katie McInally, the Community Engagement Manager at Jesse Tree, praised the power of community and the many organizations that work tirelessly to address the housing needs of people across Idaho.

The 12el Annual Avenues for Hope campaign set a new record, raising nearly $2.7 million over 20 days. The money will help 88 nonprofits throughout the state that provide critical housing and supportive services to Idahoans in need. The campaign, organized by the Home Partnership Foundation and Idaho Housing and Finance, has raised $12.2 million since its inception in 2011.

The reception gave the nonprofits a chance to network with each other

The event, held in the Idaho Room at the Zions Bank building, was also a chance for members of the nonprofits to catch up with some of their peers and talk about the work they do.

The campaign would not have been possible without the generous support of our many sponsors, including Vivienda y finanzas de Idaho, Fundación Micron, Wells Fargo y Banco Zions.

The 13el Annual campaign will be held Dec. 12 – 31, 2023.
