BOISE – For the sixth consecutive year, Idaho Housing and Finance Association has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Idaho by POPULUS, an independent marketing and human resources research organization. The Best Places to Work in Idaho comprises a community of organizations dedicated to the betterment of the condition of employment.
The Best Places to Work in Idaho winners, as chosen by their own employees, have demonstrated exceptional performance in the areas of compensation and benefits, employee growth and development, work-life balance, workplace environment, and company management.
“We are excited to be one of a select few companies that are recognized with this honor.” said Gerald Hunter, president of Idaho Housing and Finance Association. “What makes this even more special is that our employees place IHFA in very high regard. Because of their enthusiasm and commitment, our clients receive the best possible services and products available to them.”
IHFA Director of Human Resources Lydia Aguirre says that employees are able to take advantage of special benefit events like an annual health fair, wellness challenge and team building recognition. “We are committed to making this a workplace where employees want to come. Work-life balance is very important to us.”
Employee surveying and winner selection is conducted by POPULUS, one of the member organizations in the community consortium. Responses are tabulated and combined to create an Index of Excellence for each of the five dimensions of employee satisfaction. The data is then used to select the winners and rank the Top 10 organizations in each size category. IHFA placed in the Top 10 of the Large Organization category (100+ employees).
