IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – More than 558 families in the Idaho Falls area bought homes last year, thanks to 20 local housing professionals who will receive STAR Awards today, April 20, 2017 at a luncheon hosted by Idaho Housing and Finance Association. Eleven lenders and nine REALTORS® will be honored for connecting homebuyers to affordable home loans through Idaho Housing and making a collective $78 million investment in the Idaho Falls community last year.

“Our partners provide a great service to families by helping them find and purchase homes,” said Gerald M. Hunter, president and executive director of Idaho Housing. “Working together for nearly 40 years, I am proud that we have helped 22,598 area residents become homeowners while also adding more than $1 billion to the local economy.”

Today’s STAR Awards Appreciation Luncheon will be held from 12 noon to 1:15 p.m. at the Pinecrest Event Center, 560 E. Anderson Street in Idaho Falls. The following Idaho Falls Lenders will receive STAR Awards for assisting the most local homebuyers to obtain Idaho Housing home loans:
